Do I like him more than a friend?

OK so me and this boy have known each other since 6 grade(which we hated each other in 6 grade LOL) and in 7th we started to be friends. And in 8th we became like best friends, and he does say he my best friend all the time. Anyway, he a really cool guy, he's fuuny, fun, he nice, he always make me laugh and he really cute, but that's not why I like him, or I think I like him. He treat me with respect 'cause I'll be honest, I'm fat and it's something I'm completely OK with but y'all know how liitle boys can get, but he isn't like that, we joke around about it, he make jokes about me, I make jokes about him, it's like friendly bantering. But just recently I started to see him differently, like more then just my friend. I don't know what to do, I mean it would be great if we could go out and all, but then if something happens I'd hate to loose him becasue he such a great friend. And I do love him, not that type of love but I mean, everybody has that one friend right? Anyway, I have told him in the past that I used to like him, and he just said that's cool and we go on just hanging around. And all my friends and his friends think we liek each other, we always say we just friends but now I'm thinking about it. Anyway, I need soem like grade A advice 'cause this has been on my mind for a while now.
