Whats Property taxes like in New York state? Upstate and western NY?

thinking Buffalo area or Syracuse. I am in Ohio, the homes seems to range about what they cost here. For example, I own a small home I paid $92,000 back in 2009, my taxes are roughly 2000$ a year. How much more is it in NY state?
