Has anyone ever suffered with depression (or related condition) when taking Loratadine (antihistamine)?

This is the 2nd time I've asked this question today, and I'm hoping for more answers. Over the last few days I've been in a terrible state with incredibly severe mood swings and feeling very very low. I've seen the GP today because I was very frightened by the severity of these feelings as it's completely unheard of for me. Anyway, she wants to monitor the situation over the next few weeks. However, at the same time I've stopped taking Loratadine and have noticed the condition is starting to improve. According to the internet there are a few cases of people using Claratyn who suffer similar side effects, but my GP said that she'd never heard of this and it's not listed int he leaflet with the tablets. I'm convinced that the tablets are what caused it and would love to know if anyone else found something similar?
