Problems signing up for Yahoo 360?

When I try to sign up for Yahoo 360, it tells me that the email address is already being used. How can that be?? It's my email address. It even says that for my yahoo email addy. I have signed up for a gmail address and 360 tells me again that the email address is being used. What is the problem??
