Any knowledge? It's been rebuilt, installed, and now...?

it won't engage. My husband rebuilt a 4L80e in a 92 GMC pickup. Everything is hooked up properly. Right after it was installed, it was working. This morning...nothing. Won't even try. Could it be a solenoid? Any ideas would be helpful.
