Brushing a 2 year old's teeth - any tricks of the trade?

I had the same problem with my son at that age he is very stubborn and none of the cutesy tricks worked with him. I found a kid friendly mouth rinse that cleans and coats his teeth with fluoride(inspector Hector @Target) so I at least I knew his teeth were getting clean until he finally grew out of it. It made me feel a whole lot better.
