Has anyone ever suffered with depression (or related condition) when taking Loratadine (antihistamine)?

This is the 2nd time I've asked this question today, and I'm hoping for more answers. Over the last few days I've been in a terrible state with incredibly severe mood swings and feeling very very low. I've seen the GP today because I was very frightened by the severity of these feelings as it's completely unheard of for me. Anyway, she wants to monitor the situation over the next few weeks. However, at the same time I've stopped taking Loratadine and have noticed the condition is starting to improve. According to the internet there are a few cases of people using Claratyn who suffer similar side effects, but my GP said that she'd never heard of this and it's not listed int he leaflet with the tablets. I'm convinced that the tablets are what caused it and would love to know if anyone else found something similar?

98 firebird v6 drop in power and idles rough?

So I drove my 98 firebird about 20 miles or so and stopped and had lunch, then got back in and about 10 miles or so into my trip home the car kind of jittered and the battery gauge dropped almost all the way out and it kinda chugged (this all happend for about 4 seconds)(I also was going about 65mph, although I hit 70 on the way there with no problems) and rpms bounced around dropping pretty low. So I started to make my way to the next exit, once I got to the top of the hill for the exit I was stopped at a red and when it was idleing it felt like it was going to die, the rpms would drop (almost as if it was fighting to keep running) but this time the battery gauge was fine. Once the light turned green i gave it a little gas and it would go but it would kind of fight me to get up and going, until I got to about 3k rpm then it would run fine. Just about everytime I stopped after that it would do it again, but only almost died the one time and never the rest of the way home on back roads. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas on what the problem could be. Oh yeah I started it up in the driveway the next day and didnt seem to have an issue, kind of afraid to take it out again till I have it figured out. It was also raining kinda hard (for Washington) if that matters in any troubleshooting.

How to I get my husband to stop mouth breathing and sucking wind after sentences?

My husband comes from a family of mouth breathers. His mother mouth breathes very loudly, and it is quite disturbing. My husband mouth breathes and I have been after him to try to get him to stop. I can't even stand when is next to me, mouth breathing in my ear and face. Another very strange quirk he has, is sometimes, especially when is excited, is to suck wind after every sentence, through his mouth. Sometimes he makes a hissing sound inward through closed teeth. Otherwise, he purses his lips out and just take a huge intake of air through his mouth, where other people would take a intake of air through the nose. I can't stand it. Please help me otherwise the mouth breather is going to drive me crazy. I don't see any allergies going on here. She has 4oz of milk (still in a bottle) whole milk mixed with formula- she will not take plain whole milk- working on the cup thing but needs the milk and nutrients- because she is only 19 pounds. She still wants me to feed her while she finger paints with the gerber purees (fruits and some veggies)- it has to be completely purreed though she will not eat anything that is mushy. She wants to feed herself finger foods but will only eat the crunchy gerber snack line (yogurt bites, puffs, animal crackers, wagon wheels, toast, dried fruite). I have tried regular table foods put on her tray and she will only mush them but will not eat or try anything except for those gerber snacks. She only eats in her highchair on a regular schedule- she gets a snack after her afternoon nap at around 2:30 or 3:00 in the afternoon and is ready for dinner at 5:00... She has a twin how can I get her to try other foods so I can feel like I can really push on stopping the bottle with formula?

This was torture! ( for her and me)..I had to hold her down while the lady tried to find her little vein and pull blood from her...while missing a few times and poking again and again.I just took my daughter for her 2 year old physical and the doctor has ordered her to get bloodwork done again! Gestational Diabetes?

i will be eight months pregnant this friday and everything is going perfectly fine, except for my gestational diabetes. i can't keep it controlled to save my life, and it's not like i'm not trying. i went for my first visit with the diabetes dietician, which was just a meeting to explain gestional diabetes, precautionary measures, etc. i go for my second meeting with the actual nutritionist monday to determine whether or not diet alone is controlling it, or if i need to be put on insulin, which obviously i will have to be. i've been following the sheet that the dietician gave with the the food "do's and don'ts" and i also cut out all sweets and drink only water, with that being said, my blood sugar levels remain high. i have to check my sugar four times a day...in the morning before i eat anything, and then after every meal. i eat my snacks in between meals as well, as i am supposed to. my sugar seems to be fine when i test it first thing in the morning, it's supposed to be between 60-95, and mine normally runs 70-100. but, for some reason after that, it goes up and stays up. if i check it one hour after i eat, it's supposed <140 and if i wait two hours, it's supposed to be <120, well after two hours mine stays between 135-150. Saturday, it even went as high as 215, and it steadily went down after it spiked. beings that it was so high, i called the dr on call and was told that they would call me back shortly. well, that was a 4:30pm on Saturday...and at 10:30am Monday morning, they have yet to call me back...i thought this was a serious matter, but obviously i was wrong. i know i won't know exactly what to do as far as controlling it until i go and see the nutritionist, but i was just curious as to if anybody else had had this problem and could give me a little advice/peace of mind until i go. thanks so much!

I was at the funeral home and I saw my friend and he was dead. I was very sad that I started to cry. This was my first time seeing a dead body in real life. Its very sad,depressing and tragic death for him. I'll never forget him. He was a good friend and he was like my best friend. He was only 17 years old when he died. He suffered from brain damaged and he was in a coma for 50 percent living and 50 percent dieing. He died on April 8 2011. I've known him since the 9th grade in 2009. I will never find a good friend like Daniel. Its going to be really hard. I'm trying really hard to move on but its going to take a long, long time. My dad told me that there's nothing I can do about it. Its just so hard. :'(

My son was in a car accident tonight. He was driving in the left hand turn lane when a girl shot out of a restaurant driveway and plowed into him. The police said even though the girl was completely at fault, we cannot go after her for the damages she has caused. Computer freezes, won't let me log back in sometimes, files missing?

My computer freezes everything becomes unresponsive(can't move mouse pointer etc) , when I reboot , the log in screen freezes, either stays just a black screen or when i type in my pword and press enter, it freezes. I dont know. I know that sometimes homeschooling is better for social lifes like for mine. People always judged me on how short i was. I had an emergency cesarean at 27 weeks with my 2nd baby, due to preterm labor and then a breech baby. (My first baby was born premature at 21 weeks and was so tiny he basically just slipped out after I got an epidural - I don't know if that counts as a full l delivery for my first baby) With my cesarean my labor was so sudden and my uterus & stomach muscles still thick that the incision went through a lot more tissue than a full-term cesarean and I had a very long and difficult recovery. I believe the scar is low-transverse which is the safest scar to try a VBAC. I just did some research on VBACs and I'm terrified of the risks such as a ruptured uterus. Does anyone have experience with a VBAC and any advice for me in considering one for myself? I'll be discussing it with my doctor but I would love some personal stories on top of medical advice/opinion. Thanks.

9 month old...behavior while eating solids?

My 9 month old baby has recently started something new while eating solids. It looks as if she's holding her breath and trying to p gas. It makes her face beat red and she looks extremely uncomfortable. At first, I thought she was hooking her foot under the tray of the high chair and pushing, but I've been watching her and that's not it as she fits very comfortably in the high chair. She's doing this with every meal and I can't figure out why...we haven't changed any of her foods or juice. I've tried taking her out of the high chair and burping her when she does this, but I get nothing. Could she be eating too fast or taking too much at a time? We haven't changed the pace of her feedings or the amount so I don't know why she'd have an issue with those now. She's definitely hungry and 'panting' for more but just seems uncomfortbale. Proper breathing techniques in relation to exercise?

I was taught one should breath in through the nose, expanding the stomach and then exhale through the mouth while contracting the stomach in towards the spine. My question is, should one do this while running or during other strenuous exercise? I've been trying it, and it seems to work just fine (possibly even helping a bit with oxygen flow), but also strains my stomach. I image that may simply be because my stomach muscles aren't used to expanding and contracting consciously and almost counter-intuitively, but I worry it might be the result of improper breathing technique. on average I write 20 pieces of music a month, all of them one minute long, for music beds for commercials. The way I like t to work is, I play the video part with no sound and then write the music in REAL TIME to what I am seeing on the screen.. It's seldom I have to do it over. last night me and my friends decided to go to walmart because there was nothing to do. i stopped and got gas and ended up running into my freind billy. he was driving a 2000 crown victoria that he was driving because he works for a dealership. billy said we would go to walmart so i followed him. billy was driving like a maniac, doing burnouts, donuts, excessive speeding etc.l when we got to the walmrt parking lot he was continuing to to burnouts rev his engine etc. i never did any speeding or burnouts. when we left we went down a road he was swerving all over the place so i decided to do just a small swerve. nothing serious. i was in complete control my tires probably went 4 feet over the line. the road has no houses in the area and you could clearly see oncoming traffic in front of you. suddenly a police car came up behing me and both me and billy pulled over. i got a failure to maintain lane ticket for 127 dollars. im a little frustrated bacause the officer felt billys tires, felt they were very warm and worn and knew he has a driving record but he got the same dollar amount ticket as i did. all i did was just a small swerve and have to pay 127 dollars. will this make my insurance go up. also he was driving a dealer plated car how did he not get in trouble for that. should i plead not guilty or just pay the fine. i did not endanger anyones life. i wasnt drinking, all i did was just swerve once. im just a little frustrated because i dont have any money right now and this is all i need. if i could even just get it reduced that would be awesome

I just want to encourage you to hang in there and enjoy these baby months. Believe me believe me believe me they go fast. The first 2-3 years of parenting is full time 24/7. But believe me all of a sudden they have little buddies and become more independent and it ends. Your breaks will get longer and longer as each year goes by. Hang in there. Before you know it he will be in Kindergarten and have some sort of sports practice for an hour, or a party for 2 hours, then he will have sleep overs. Soon he will spend more and more time playing with his toys and not need you every 10 minutes. It will be every 30 minutes, then every hour, then after school! Our situation. Before my husband got his degree and started his career, I worked as a CNA then LPN. After I had our last child, my husband wanted me to stay at home with the kids. We have savings, we have insurance, we pay our taxes, etc. We get no financial help from elsewhere. I was still told I needed a job, incase something happens to my husband. If, something happens to my husband, we have insurance and I have my LPN license I can fall back on. So please tell me what is the big deal. I was told no one in this economy needs to be staying at home. If, we can make it on just my husband's income - what is the big deal? No, I am not bragging about our income - something could happen and my husband could not have a job. We have struggled before, working both min. wage jobs so he could go to school and myself as well. At one point in time we did get help from student grants and loans. Still paying on our debt. I'm just asking what is wrong with a stay at home mom if your family can deal with that. If I were to take the bike out on a test ride, with a licensed rider staying within 1/4 of me, will a cop really care? 2.5 yr old cat won't poo in the litter box anymore?

She's been doing this for a little under a year now, but it's been off and on. Now it's totally on. We have two cats and one of them is 100% good about pooing in the litter box. I had the same problem with my son at that age he is very stubborn and none of the cutesy tricks worked with him. I found a kid friendly mouth rinse that cleans and coats his teeth with fluoride(inspector Hector @Target) so I at least I knew his teeth were getting clean until he finally grew out of it.
